A Note To Some Of My Readers (and maybe it's you?)

Don't read me. Read some good nonfiction books.

Let’s be clear: I have no idea who my audience is. I’m hoping that some of you must read serious nonfiction books, like the ones listed in some of my posts.

So this statement is directed at some part of the rest of you. You’re the person in this audience who really badly needs to get up to date on what’s happening, because you’re hypnotized by an unending flow of distractions in little bursts of what used to be called “sound bites”. This post might as well be a video clip, or some other useless distraction to page into before the next thing. I do it, too.

But I still get my reading in. I’ll be adding some more book recommendations soon. Some of the rest of you (only some- not you; you) should get busy reading at least one of the book choices I’ve listed elsewhere. Some of them are serendipitous as hell. a word to the wise.
